ORG*: ZooZoo TV ads – Creative Campaign of Vodafone…

Its been long time that Indian ad makers did something different and unique…! They are were so relaxed and easy about ad making that they presented something like Hyundai-Getz ad …Where Sexy looking Sania Mirza says ‘I drive getz…who drives you? its like ‘I eat strawberry, what eats you….!!’ There are so many such stupid ads I could list!

Here I want to share with you refreshingly new and exciting concept of the ZooZoos!!! Friends ZooZoo Campaign is different and unique by ‘O & M’ for Vodafone..and totally an Indian Idea! I am proud of you guys…

I am no great fan of cricket at least not now…once upon a time used to follow the game but not anymore…still i watch IPL just to see ZooZoos again n again. They are amazing and hilarious characters and are so true to life, are eggheaded small laughing viruses…!

O&M – India, created this campaign for Vodafone to create awareness about value added services offered by Vodafone including phone Memory Backup, cricket alerts,roaming, Small recharge, maps etc. Many viewers earlier thought that ZooZoos are animationed…but interesting part is that they are not. ZooZoos are actually small girls actors, dressed in white costumes that are stuffed with foam to portray the characters.

    ZooZoo ads are really nice and creative. The information they are passing is old but the way is totally new and fresh.
    Initially I thought the ad characters are animated but these characters are real slim women actors from Mumbai.
    These all ads are great and created by ‘Prakash Varma’ ad filmmaker, Nirvana Films.

    Its an awesome idea by Indian ad makers to promote Vodafone value added products, seems even my kids started liking it a lot & knowing about the products seeing their activities.

    Hats off to the team who must have spend hours of brain storming to launch it.

    Hi,

    Really the Concept and idea of Zoozoo is new and catchy. Everyone around is talking abt these ads. I was really surprised when I first heard about these being real characters and not animated. I have also heared that a full set was developed / raised in Banglore for Shooting of these ads.

    I have one more idea, how abt a Treat, watching the lovely old pug ‘Chitika’& the Zoozoo together. 🙂
    Hope somehow this idea reaches the creator Prakash Varma’ ad filmmaker, Nirvana Films.

    They are so hilarious…A fresh concept different from the regular star brand advertisements… The fun part is i watch IPL just to catch the Zoozoos in actions.. 🙂

    This is a creative, entertaining, decent and liked by all concept. Much better than giving crores of rupees to the brand ambassadors. Such ads catch the attention of the viewers much more than the presence of a celebrity anytime…

    Celebrities do nothing to band when they endorse 100s of brands simultaneously…

    and its wired to see same celebrity endorses some other brand in same category once their contract ends with the previous one…its so funny!!!

    Ads won’t help Vodafone much if they keep their customer service (worst) as it is.
    I use AirTel and overheard problems my friends face with Vodafone…
